Fullerton College offers hands-on training on modern, high-speed equipment. The printing program is dedicated to serving three distinct groups: students who wish to learn more about general printing concepts, color management and the printing process; students who wish to enter the printing trade after obtaining industry certification; lastly, students who wish to transfer after completing an Associate of Science Degree in Printing Technology. The program offers courses in electronic pre-press, packaging production and design, flexography, offset presswork, and screen printing.

SALARY RANGE: $37,226–$43,035 per year

JOB OUTLOOK: In 2016, there were 104 employer postings for flexographic workers in Orange County. More than half of the postings (63%) were for printing press operators (65 job postings). There were 101 job postings for the same occupations in 2015, and 98 job postings in 2014. More than 300 job opportunities will be available annually for occupations through 2021 due to job replacement need (e.g., retirements).
